John Naccarelli, MBA

Founder and CEO
John Naccarelli founded the veteran-owned business, Sky Nurses LLC, to "make a difference." Prior to its founding, he served in a variety of professional positions as a military officer, investment adviser, general manager, professional engineer, and business owner. In all of his positions and past experiences, Mr. Naccarelli discovered that the common attributes for success are complex planning capabilities, attention to detail, near-perfect execution, intensive management, unwavering commitment, and dedication to excellence. Mr. Naccarelli continues to convey all of these skills at Sky Nurses. John Naccarelli graduated with a B.S. in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and also earned a Master in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.

Tara Rose, RN

President / VP, Medical Management
Tara Rose has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry with an emphasis on critical care and emergency nursing. Ms. Rose has a degree in Nursing and currently holds an RN License in the State of Florida and multiple other states. Ms. Rose's background in risk management has served as a resource for the organization and enabled her to develop formal and informal mechanisms for risk identification. As a Medical Manager at Sky Nurses, Ms. Rose works tirelessly to develop policies and procedures, training programs, and cloud-based services to streamline the medical travel assistance services offered by Sky Nurses. Ms. Rose's, and the entire Sky Nurses staff focus on risk mitigation and problem-solving ensures that the services provided by Sky Nurses are without issue for the patients, family members, and healthcare professionals.

David Soria, MD

Medical Director
Dr. Soria is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Medicine and has completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic/Case Western Reserve University/MetroHealth Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Soria continues to serve as an actively practicing emergency physician and medical director. He is currently active with the National Basketball Association (NBA) as the Assistant Director of Medical Affairs. Dr. Soria is the Health Specialist for WPTV News Channel 5 and WFLX Fox News29 for all of Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Soria has been active in the American College of Emergency Physicians at the local, state and national level, and sat on the Board of Directors for Florida ACEP. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine.

Mary Rivera

VP, Business Development and Operations
Mary Rivera has over 25 years of combined experience in business development and start-up operations in the Healthcare Staffing Industry. Her experience in the placement of registered nurses and allied health professionals includes working for three major healthcare companies in management roles. Ms. Rivera has been an aggressive leader in identifying, prioritizing, managing, and preparing executive corporate-wide processes to increase their competitive advantage in the market. Ms. Rivera is recognized for her creative thinking and initiatives that capitalize on existing and prospective employees’ strengths to accelerate growth and ensure effective operations. Ms. Rivera is known to have outstanding relationship-building skills with clients, customers, and team members. She is known in her community for her volunteer work helping families with their financial situations.

Danielle Pilla

Director of Travel Operations
Danielle Pilla graduated from Palm Beach State College with a B.S. in Health Care Management. While in school and working, she was on the Dean’s List and a member of Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society. Throughout her adult life, Ms. Pilla has demonstrated her work ethic serving in several positions to help pay for her educational expenses. Ms. Pilla started working at Sky Nurses full-time upon her graduation to apply the knowledge gained by her healthcare degree. She has served in different capacities at Sky Nurses over the years before her debut as a Logistics Coordinator, where she became a travel agent to improve her skills. Since then, Ms. Pilla has mastered the planning and pricing of our transports, earning the position of Director of Travel Operations overseeing our team of Logistics Coordinators. She has clearly demonstrated her dedication to Sky Nurses and to our clients and patients. Ms. Pilla is active in her community and volunteers for Toys for Tots events in Palm Beach County.

John Brinkworth

Director of Marketing
John Brinkworth joined Sky Nurses in April 2018 and brought a diverse professional background. Prior to joining the Sky Nurses organization, Mr. Brinkworth served in several roles to include Financial Services Manager at SouthTrust Bank, Marketing Manager at Nurse Staffing Unlimited, and Coordinator with the Salvation Army. He was also a small business owner of a transport consulting company. While serving in these various positions, Mr. Brinkworth learned the importance and value of customer service and unyielding drive. He obtained skills that are valuable to Sky Nurses in his current capacity and is very client-focused with excellent communication skills. As a manager and motivator, he is truly dedicated to his work and the clients that require our highly specialized services. Mr. Brinkworth completed his education in business management at St. Petersburg College, Florida in 2003.

Dan Cots, MD, PhD.

Medical Director for Europe and the Middle East
Dr. Cots primarily serves as an Emergency Room Physician in one of the largest hospitals of Barcelona, Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge, and also works with air ambulance companies transporting patients around the globe. Dr. Cots brings his experience and expertise to Sky Nurses, servicing as the Medical Director for Europe and the Middle East. When necessary, Dr. Cots will also complete medical escort cases for patients needing a higher level of medical attention. Dr. Cots graduated from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona with B.S. Degrees in Biology and Biochemistry and then earned a Master in Biomedicine, Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry. Dr. Cots received a grant from the European Union to develop a gene therapy strategy to treat Parkinson's disease and Mucopolysaccharidosis Type VII, for which he received his Doctorate with honors in 2014. In his capacity as a Medical Director of Sky Nurses, Dr. Cots is a valuable team member and his daily involvement in healthcare services, practices, and treatments are very beneficial to the safety of Sky Nurses' patients for any transport.
